About La Siesta Restaurante
Martin, owner of LaSiesta Restaurante, grew up in a small town in the mountains of Durango, Mexico. He always believed that his town had the best tasting food in Mexico. He loved his mother's cooking and all the local flavors. It was always his dream to open his own Mexican restaurant and highlight some of these flavors. We opened La Siesta Restaurante in December 2006 with only 30 seats, and bring your own beer and wine. We were welcomed by the people of Winthrop , MA with lines out the door. We expanded the restaurant on Cinco de Mayo 2008 and now have 99 seats and a Full Liquor License. La Siesta Restaurante  is a family restaurant with both Martin and Ann working most days and helped by their 3 sons.
